Responses & Analytics
Responses, Filtering, and Analytics
Every submission lands in responses table with filtering, sorting, column visibility, and search — plus a dedicated Analytics tab for trends and per-question breakdowns.
1. The responses table
Open a form's Responses tab to see every submission as a row, one column per question. Use Filter and Sort to narrow down results, Columns to hide questions you don't need right now, and Search to find a specific response. Responses marked Partial are in-progress submissions that were auto-saved but never completed — useful for understanding drop-off.
2. Exporting to CSV
Use the CSV button above the responses table to export every visible row (respecting your current filters) to a spreadsheet-ready file.
3. Analytics
The Analytics tab shows submission trends over time and a per-question breakdown — answer distributions for select/radio/checkbox/rating questions, and a response rate for every question, so you can spot where respondents are dropping off or which answers cluster.
4. Ask AI
Click Ask AI to open the assistant as a resizable panel docked beside the table — not a sheet covering it — so you can watch rows change while you type. Ask a plain-language question, like "which plan gives the highest ratings?" or "show only completed responses," and it can answer directly, drive the table's filters and sort, or export a file. See The Orbiform AI Assistant for everything it can do.
5. Automating what happens next
To send every new response somewhere else automatically — Slack via Zapier, a spreadsheet via Make, or your own backend — see Webhooks: Connect Zapier, Make, and n8n, or read directly from Claude with Connect Orbiform to Claude with MCP.
