Connect Google Sheets to Auto-Log Responses
Connect a form to Google Sheets and Orbiform creates a spreadsheet for it automatically — every new response is then appended as a row, no Zapier/Make/n8n step required.
1. Connecting a form
Open a form's Integrations tab and click Connect Google Sheets. You'll sign in to Google and approve a narrow permission scoped to creating and editing spreadsheets — not your whole Drive or Gmail. Orbiform then creates a new spreadsheet named after your form, with a header row matching your form's questions, and it appears in your own Google Drive right away.
2. How responses become rows
Every time someone submits the form, Orbiform appends one row with the submission time and each answer, aligned to the header row created at connect time. If you add or remove questions afterward, existing columns aren't reshuffled — disconnect and reconnect to regenerate the header row with your current questions.
3. Disconnecting
Click Disconnect next to the connected sheet in the Integrations tab. This only stops new rows from being added — the spreadsheet itself, and everything already in it, stays exactly as it is in your Google Drive.
4. One Google account, many forms
Each form still gets its own spreadsheet, but you only need to sign in to Google once per account — connecting a second (or third) form doesn't require re-authorizing. From that form's Integrations tab, pick your already-connected Google account from the dropdown instead of starting a new sign-in, or add the connection from Settings → Integrations and choose which form to attach it to — the same account is reusable across as many forms as you like. To collect multiple forms into a single spreadsheet, export each form's responses to CSV and combine them manually, or use a webhook to a tool like Make or Zapier that can route multiple forms into one sheet with custom logic.
5. Managing connected accounts
See every Google account connected to your workspace, and how many forms each one is used by, under Settings → Integrations → Connected apps. Each account is listed once, with every form using it nested underneath it — so it's clear at a glance which sheets share the same account. Removing an account there disconnects it from every form using it, not just one — the confirmation dialog shows exactly how many forms will stop syncing before you confirm.
