Getting Started with Orbiform
Orbiform is an AI-powered form and survey builder — describe the form you need in your own words, in any language, and Orbiform drafts it for you. This guide walks through creating your account, building your first form, and where everything lives in the dashboard.
1. Create your account
Go to orbiform.cc/register and sign up with an email and password, or continue with Google. Every new account starts a 7-day free trial with full access — no card required to start.
On your first login, Orbiform automatically creates a personal workspace for you (named after your first name). Workspaces are where your forms, team members, and billing live — see Workspaces and Team Management for more.
2. Create your first form
From the dashboard, click New form. You land in the form editor with an empty form and an AI chat panel alongside it. Type what you want in plain language — for example, "Create a 5-question customer feedback survey with a 1-5 rating" — and Orbiform adds the questions, sets sensible field types, and wires up any logic you described. Prefer to build by hand? Add questions directly from the editor toolbar — Orbiform supports text, textarea, email, number, select, radio, checkbox, date, and 1-5 star rating fields. See Question Types Explained.
3. Finding your way around
- Dashboard — every form in your active workspace, with quick access to edit, view responses, or duplicate. Switch between grid, list, and table views with the icons above the list — your choice is remembered on that device.
- Charts — build your own charts from any form's responses, shared with your whole team. See Build Custom Charts on Your Dashboard.
- Editor — build and edit questions, with the AI chat panel for each question's own history.
- Design — brand kit, layout (classic or conversational), and theme settings.
- Responses — a filterable, sortable table of every submission, with an AI assistant panel that can filter, export, rank, and report on the data for you.
- Analytics — submission trends and per-question answer distributions.
4. AI, wherever you're working
The AI Builder in the editor is one part of a bigger assistant: the same chat also lives in the Responses and Analytics tabs, and is reachable from anywhere in the dashboard with ⌘K (Ctrl+K). See The Orbiform AI Assistant for everything it can do.
5. Publish and share
A form only accepts responses once you turn on the Published switch. Once published, share the public link directly, or generate a prefilled link with answers already filled in. See Publishing, Prefill Links, and Password Protection.
