Comments and Team Collaboration
Every form has a built-in comment panel so your team can leave feedback without leaving Orbiform — comment on a specific question, or on the form as a whole, reply in a thread, and @mention a teammate to notify them.
1. Opening the comment panel
Click the comment icon next to any question to comment on that question specifically, or use the comments button in the form's top nav to open the workspace-wide panel — from there you can post a whole-form comment or browse every comment on the form, question by question. The panel is resizable and stays open alongside the editor.
2. @mentions and notifications
Type @ followed by a teammate's name while writing a comment to tag them — they'll get a notification immediately. Clicking a comment notification (or a reply notification) takes you straight to the form with that exact comment scrolled into view and briefly highlighted, so you never have to hunt for it.
3. Replying, editing, and deleting
Reply under any comment to keep a conversation threaded under the original. You can edit or delete any comment you wrote — updates and removals appear instantly for anyone else with the panel open, no page refresh needed.
4. Searching comments across every form
Open the command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K) and start typing — matching comments from any form in your workspace show up in a Comments group alongside forms and pages. Selecting one opens that form and scrolls straight to the comment.
5. Who can comment
Anyone who belongs to the form's workspace can view and post comments — see Roles and Permissions for what each workspace role can do.
